Warsaw – Update

Warsaw was a place of good photographic spots, as I mentioned we enjoyed the underground a lot. As many have said, it’s an underrated city and full of surprises, along with Berlin, these are places that can be explored for months.

The University Library is one of the unique spots, regarding architecture there are many interesting features but the one thing that makes it a must is the rooftop botanical garden. It’s one of the largest in Europe (aprox. 1ha), it’s free to visit, well take care of and offers a nice view from the main street dome.

The cyber punk-esc feel of the garden add a plus of wonder

Another interesting place in the area is the Copernicus Science Center – it may look like a kids attraction at first look but you can wander through the miracles of physics for hours!

Warsaw’s example of revival and gentrification is Praga, a neighborhood that combines styles, development timelines, ages and functions into one working entity. Although there are places where you might not feel safe at different times, it’s one of the most diverse places I’ve been in.

There would not have been a trip to Warsaw without visiting a local Mleczny and having a menu of the day!
