Brussels Snapshots – Travel Stories IV

Posted on

After leaving Bruges behind we spent the next days wandering about in Brussels, trying to discover a lot more than we did previously and I have to say that after 2 days we feel like we know the center almost as well as we know Bucharest. The weather was not too friendly and the presence of rain made it harder to photograph and walk around as much as we would have liked.

The strangest place in Brussels was the Pachéco Boulevard, it was deserted, the only people we met were on a cigarette break or homeless looking for food or shelter. It was a great surprise while trying to photograph The Congress Station with its unique architecture and details I realized that there were 10-15 people living at the entrance. The Botanical Garden looks like a great place too, we walked around it a bit but a part of it was closed due to the weather.
